Nordic Style Small Apartment Interior Design with Smart Storage and Abundant Natural Light for Comfortable Living

Entrance hallway design

The entrance hallway design features simple wall-mounted cabinets that meet daily storage needs, such as shoe storage, with the upper part serving as a shoe-changing bench and the back wall for hanging bags and other items.

Bright and comfortable interior

Upon entering, it gives a great feeling—comfortable and spacious, with ample sunlight creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The all-white decoration enhances lighting throughout the house, and the mid-century Nordic style soft furnishings add comfort, giving a sense of grandeur.

Soft furnishings and color variety

The soft furnishings appear simple but feature varied color combinations. To improve the home’s ambiance, the sofa tones are more diverse.

Spacious living area

Although the unit is small, it doesn’t feel cramped. The first floor is very spacious, with the living room’s soft furnishings arranged simply and elegantly. The solid wood TV cabinet and a wooden sofa chair complement each other, while the solid wood flooring adds warmth.

Staircase and TV wall

The living room background wall doubles as the staircase to the second floor, making full use of space. The TV background wall was originally intended for storage but was later found to be more aesthetically pleasing as a TV wall.

Open kitchen and dining

The dining area and kitchen are open-plan, with a large overall space. Cabinets along the wall provide extensive storage and can also display artworks, creating a clean, simple, and elegant look.

Second floor study

On the second floor, some changes were made, such as converting the original walk-in closet into a study. Instead of a TV, a projector is planned for future installation, enhancing aesthetics and comfort. Sliding doors save space.

Corridor and storage

The corridor leading to the secondary bedroom includes hidden storage spaces with massive capacity, giving a mysterious feel—it’s essentially a walk-in closet.

Secondary bedroom

The secondary bedroom is relatively large and simple, with custom-built wardrobes meeting daily storage needs. The large bay window space makes the room comfortable and airy.

Decorations and Nordic style

White spaces are easily accentuated with decorations like green plants and wall art. Paired with Nordic design, the simple soft furnishings look very comfortable and practical.

Children's room

Finally, the children’s room has excellent natural light. Upon entry, it’s clear that the entire home is well-lit, with almost every room having windows. The bunk bed accommodates multiple children, and the large space allows for a rest and play area.
